This is a Pommard of finesse thanks mainly to the fine-grained tannins

This is also quite cool and restrained with its broad-based nose of plum

a little heady and quite ripe with black rather than red fruit

pure and airy nose offers up notes of red cherry

Domaine, Pavelot Vintage:2020 Very dry end(from Les Chaumes). Enough wood to merit pointing out is present on the vaguely exotic nose of apple compote, lychee, passion fruit and jasmine tea scents. There is both fine volume and power to the larger scaled flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the sappy, moderately long and noticeably rustic finale. This delicious effort wont win any awards for refinement, but it should repay 5 to 8 years of keeping.
